Jody Herman
I am a self taught artist originally from Northern Alberta, I now live in Northern BC not far from where I grew up. I have specialized mainly in authentic western/country themed graphite art, pulling ideas from events that I have been to, or am a part of and from memories. The pictures I exhibit are authentically my own from personal experiences. I enjoy using a mix of graphite and charcoal in my art when I am drawing, and then I also enjoy painting some of these drawings, using oils, which has been something I have been doing more lately. It has been enjoyable to share my artwork with the local community as I like to add details and people that are familiar to others in the hopes that we can share in the memory together.
