 About the Workshop

This online workshop spans over 3 Saturdays. Each Saturday, students work on exercises during class time. During the week between zoom classes, you'll have an opportunity to complete your exercises and/or work on projects. You'll be provided with detailed pdf instructions for each exercise or project. On Oct 3rd., students will present their final project for feedback.

This course is designed for both absolute color pencil beginners and artists who want to improve their current skills. You are progressively introduced to fundamental colored pencil techniques for mixing colors and creating both smooth and textured shading gradations. Projects allow you use your new skills to create realistic drawings of a shiny green apple and a vibrant red poppy or draw from your own reference.

If you have questions, during the week, you are welcome to email your instructor.
